The Hitchin Festival is an annual event which takes place in the historic market town of Hitchin. Every aspect of Hitchin is showcased through the multitude of events organised by the Hitchin Festival, whether it’s the Triangle Festival providing an outlet for up and coming young musicians, a chance to sample local produce, the Environmental Fair run by Hitchin’s Parents Against Climate Change or the extraordinary variety of popular and world music featured throughout Rhythms of the World.
Taking place from 27th June - 22nd July 2008, the Hitchin Festival has been going for over 15 years and brings the community together through the celebration of local, national and international culture and entertainment.
The Festival was created to elevate the town’s profile and raise money for community projects; now, with thousands now attending the historic Hertfordshire town every year, the Hitchin Festival has become an essential date on the festival calendar.
